Best Fish Fry in town

Okay folks, best fish fry in town this week is at Kostas on Hertel Avenue. I stopped in to have lunch with a friend and ordered a fish sandwich lunch special they had advertised as you walked in or waited to be seated.  Expect to wait if you decide to eat at this popular North Buffalo Greek restaurant  The fish fry sandwich only $5.99 with home fries totaled about $8.50 and the service great. If you like coffee, after the first cup, refills free.  The haddock fish fried crisp outside soft and delicious inside.  I liked it so much, I'm going back today for another fish fry sandwich.

Fish Sandwich anyone? How do you like your fish fry?

Buffalo, NY is known for its snow storms. This year the snow kept coming down the frigid temperatures just as inhospitable. But wait! When it comes to their fish fry short of a blizzard, nothing stops Buffalonians from seeking out their favorite places around town for a fish fry on Fridays.
I like my fish on a bun with homemade tartar sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, cayenne pepper, drenched in lemon with a side of homemade coleslaw, a salad or french fries. When I talk to old friends or meet new ones, I'm always curious about where they go out  for a Friday fish fry around town, and the responses interesting.  Share a comment here.
